Modified Exeter benches to help create an integrated and calming roof top garden.
The design of a new private rooftop garden in the heart of the Capital with far reaching views required integrated benches within areas of raised planting.
By modifying our Exeter style bench we were able to manufacture items that complimented the other design features of this space.

Being a rooftop project We decided to produce the framework in aluminium to help minimise the weight and the installation logistics.
The plate aluminium was finished with a “Mar’s” powder coat giving the feel of weathered steel/Corten steel without the associated staining issues. The longitudinal timber slats produced in Accoya offered a cost effective solution as the associated waste with this engineered product is highly reduced. With a 50 year guarantee on all Accoya timbers this option provides a long lasting and stable alternative.
Over all this project allowed us to show our flexibility on what and how we can provide street furniture. Offering up solutions to suit the individual project needs.
