Benchmark, design and produce three large curved seats for a rooftop garden in central London.
The project was part of the £90m P1 Kings Cross development, which will cover over 27 acres. It is a mixed development of offices, homes, shops, hotels and community facilities in the Kings Cross area, creating a thriving new quarter in a much under-used and neglected part of central London.
Due to the complex curved shape of the large planted areas, it was important that the sections of seating followed the lines of the planters precisely. Seating from the Centerline range was chosen, having been designed specifically to cater for this type of project. Working closely with the architects and landscape contractors, the final details were agreed upon and the seats were duly manufactured and delivered to site within the allotted timescale.
The end result is the creation of a congenial green open space that can be enjoyed by residents in this new prestigious development.
The CL010 is from the Centerline range and can be made to any length and curved to any radius. There are a number of material and finish options, including powder coated galvanised mild steel in 316 marine grade stainless steel, allowing you to create a product unique to your project.
